I'm so excited!

Oh yes, you read that right. We have an upcoming trip to Disneyworld and it is almost here! Since I now work for an airline and get flight benefits, Jason and I have been wondering what kind of big and fun trip to take this year. We looked at many different places, New York, Peurto Rico, Washington DC and even Disneyland. In fact we were leaning towards Disneyland because it is closer than Florida and we have friends going there this October. I looked at the prices, and for fun, decided to compare the rates for Disneyland and Disneyworld. Well believe it or not, Disneyworld was actually less money so that helped make our decision.

We are staying on Disney property at the All-Star Sports resort and because we are going at the right time and know the right promo code, all the food will be free. While I've been to Disneyworld twice before, I've never stayed on property before and I've certainly never been able to pick and choose where we eat, knowing it all is free. I keep telling Jason that perhaps I've gone a little overboard, because 90% of our meals are already reserved and at restaurants with character dining, but this is a once in a lifetime trip for us! Well maybe not once in a lifetime as we are planning on going again this time next year for the Christensen Family reunion, and possibly the year after that for the Bateman Family reunion, but still, a great opportunity!

So stay tuned dear reader because in just a few weeks, you had better believe that there will be at least one post, possibly more detailing our trip.

Have I mentioned that I am excited?

I hope you have a great time at Disney World. Can you believe I have never been to either Disney World or Disney Land? Sounds like a lot of fun.

I must admit that the first thought that popped into my head when I saw your countdown was, "I wonder how far along she is!" I guess Disneyworld is exciting, too.

Oh very funny Malauna. Yes Disneyworld is exciting. Tammy, I feel like I put up with alot, working with the public for an airline, so it is a nice perk to be able to fly for free. It is my little reward for listening to people blame my employer for the bad weather that has caused their flight to be cancelled/delayed. Jason and I have been saving up to go and we really think our children will enjoy it even more than Disneyland now that they are older.
Noelle, it sounds like Luella is planning her reunion at Disneyworld at just the right time for you then! Rachel will be three and I think she'll love it!

That's right! and we are going to kidnap Rachel and make sure she gets the Princess Boutique treatment!

and by the way, Shanda, it doesn't matter how many times you go to Disney World. It takes many times of going before you see everything. And once you think you've seen everything, they go and build more things! make sure you go on Soarin', Philharmagic, Nemo's ride, Buzz Lightyear, Laugh Factory, Bug's Life, Toy Story ride. I don't know how long you're staying, but these are all our favorite rides! With the meal plan, all-you-can-eat restaurants i.e. Whispering Canyon, Liberty Tavern, and Germany(Biergarten) are the best values for your sit-down meals. If these are not already on your itinerary, definitely make sure you try them out one of the next two times you go!

Though I lived in Florida, I never went to Disney World, though I went to all the other parks. I went to Disneyland twice, once with me, a babysitter and the boys and once with me, John and the boys. We still never saw everything, but you are right, Shanda, it is expensive. Have fun at Disney World!

We have reservations for Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon, but not at the Biergarten. The only place we couldn't get reservations for that we wanted was Cinderella's Royal Banquet at the Magic Kingdom. Oh well. Maybe next year.
