Day Three: Epcot

Day three started early - but not quite as early as days one and two.

This time, we decided to start off right, by getting our picture taken with Mickey Mouse!

For breakfast, we went to the Norway pavilion to eat with princesses. Well, we had such a fun time getting our picture with Mickey and riding the Soarin' ride (which is a favorite of mine), we missed our breakfast reservation. All was not lost, however, since they were able to fit us in for lunch. Just in time too, to get our pictures taken with Belle - among others.

Then it was off to Mission: Space. This was another ride swap. I went first with Tegan. We (I) decided to do the less intense version and it was fun. While we were riding, Jason waited with Janica and Kierra at the exit. This ride had a little playground at the exit, so it was even nicer for those who weren't able to ride. You know, I am SO glad we are here in September! I really am. There hasn't been much of a line for any ride we've wanted to ride. Tegan and I walked right on to Mission: Space. There was a little wait for Soarin', but it was only 15 minutes. This has been great!

With our space exploration out of the way, we decided it was time to visit the seas, with Nemo and friends. The Nemo ride was fun. I'm glad they added all the characters. The best part of the pavilion by far was Turtle Talk with Crush. There weren't many in the room with us and Crush spent time talking with Tegan and his parental units. I wasn't near as funny as Crush. I just answered his questions and left the comedy up to the turtle. I know, it sounds odd. I guess it is a Disney thing.

We finished off our evening with a very late dinner, but it turned out to be well worth the wait. Before we even left for Disneyworld, I scoured guidebooks and websites, looking for ideas and recommendations. One that popped up over and over was the Hoop-De-Doo Revue. So that is what we did tonight. It was a blast! It was a dinner show, with live performers on stage right in front of us. They sang songs, told jokes, danced, and kept us entertained the whole time! I can't remember the last time I saw Tegan laugh so hard.

We had great seats right up in front next to the stage. As you can see, Janica and Tegan were able to combine eating and watching at the same time. Interesting with all the distractions that they were still able to eat. Somehow they can't manage it at home, but then again Disneyworld is a magical place - I guess. Anyway, we all had a great time. Yes it was late and we were all exhausted, but we are definitely doing the show again when we go back next year. It was a real highlight!
