The sessions I attended of the seminar were Friday night and Saturday during the day. On Friday night I got my first surprise!
I saw Angela Flake Grossnickle across the crowded room and raced over to her before she moved! It was so wonderful to see her and spend a few minutes talking to her! Because she is in the Portland area, I don't usually see her at mission reunions. We were never companions, but believe me, that doesn't make much difference with my mission alumnae - at least the sisters. We saw each other and interacted so much, we still got to know each other quite well. Angela is due to have a baby in a couple weeks, so she sold her ticket to the Saturday session. I completely understand. It would have been tough sitting for six or so hours being that pregnant.
Angela you look wonderful! Good luck with your new baby! I love your blog! Your girls are so cute and you tell great stories about them.
So that was the first surprise. On Saturday, before the session started, I saw my second surprise!
It is Angel Bott! I'm sorry I don't remember your married name. Angel and I were companions for two months in sector three in Bucuresti. When I saw her on Saturday, I didn't think my odds were so good to see another mission sister, so I was a little more cautious when I approached her. I told her that if she isn't Angel Bott, then she has an identical twin somewhere. Of course it was her and we had a great time chatting as well. It was an amazing experience to spend the weekend with my birth sisters, and seeing sisters from my mission really made it that much better.
It is a small world and I wouldn't have it any other way!

True to your word - a picture of me on your blog!! Hooray!! Isn't it amazing how Romania links us together forever! I love it!! Now what am I going to do to control myself from trying to force my two daughters on missions? When I loved it so much, I just don't want them to miss out. Oh well, I've got at least 16 years to figure it out. Love you!!!!!
I am not computer savvy, I hope this will link you with my personal family blog rather than my brother's. http://bgrossnickle.blogspot.com/
Yay! It's always so awesome to see each other. Running into each other unexpectedly is an added bonus.
Va iubesc!
