A new day, a new post

I love spring! Well for the most part, I love spring! After a long and dreary winter, it is so nice to see flowers blooming and hear birds. It's just that this year I'm looking at my yard, and there is going to be so much work that needs to be done by the end of May! We want to finally put the island in the front of our house, so that means clearing away the grass we so carefully planted some years back, putting in the stone border, and of course planting the flowers we want in the island now. Work, work work! Oh well. I still enjoy working outside and since the kids are old enough to play outside with me, it is that much easier. I would just prefer having Jason's help, but with his work schedule and mine, we don't have much time together to work on these major projects. Sigh. Oh well. We'll figure it out.
