While on some level it does seem a little odd that I haven't included any spiritual mission memories, on another level it doesn't bother me a bit. Wow, I must be really deep with more than one level.
There was an Elder Christensen in my mission who was a Zone leader. He and I thought it was great that we had the same last name. I think some members even asked if we were married. When he left to go home, I gave him one of my nametags for his sister (she would have been Sora Christensen too, get it?).
Although it was never confusing for me that we had the same last name, I guess it was confusing for some. Actually I'm thinking about just one person. Sister Morrey, the mission president's wife. My memory today is the morning that Sister Morrey called my apartment looking for Elder Christensen. I'm sure she was quickly looking at the mission roster and didn't pay attention to the title before the last name. She paid attention in a hurry when a sister answered the phone at what she thought was an elder's apartment!
I was still laughing about the shock in her voice the next time I ran into Elder Christensen. He told me that I should have told Sister Morrey that he was in the shower and that I'd give him the message when he got out. Now I'll admit, that really would have been funny, but I'm not sure Sister Morrey would have appreciated that humor as much.

I think I could start an entire blog on memories of Sister Morrey. I'll never forget her pleas to me to get my companion to "take care" of her mustache! Ah, Sister Morrey--I love that woman!
That would have been funny. I'm with Mendy...and I think that an entire blog of Sora Morrey stories would never be enough about that dear lady.
That was a funny story.
