I love my sisters. They are three of my most favorite people in the world. We sing together, play together and have so much in common! I love the weekends we are able to get together and do hair, gossip and enjoy each other. I wish everyone could be as close to their sisters as I am to mine.
One of my fondest wishes is that my daughters are best friends as they grow up. They are two years apart in age, share a room and share many interests. They love dancing, princesses and teasing their brother. Granted, right now it is more that Janica loves these things and Kierra copies everything she does, but I'll take it.
Needless to say, another one of their passions is posing for pictures. I agree, they are both very good at it. Neither of them are in school right now, so they spend plenty of time together.
One of the things that Kierra is copying right now, is how Janica talks. At the end of her sentence, she'll say "Yeah." A typical sentence could go like this: "I need to dance with Janica. Yeah." Or "Tegan is outside. Yeah." She actually speaks very well and I don't know why she needs the constant affirmation, but it is really cute while it lasts.
And here are my two little princesses. Two peas in a pod and yet very different. I love them both and it is also my goal as a mother to NOT relive my youth through them. I have to keep repeating that to myself, almost as a mantra. Say it again. I will NOT relive my youth through them.

Good mantra. Indeed. I love sisters!
Hey, Shanda! I love that we can keep in touch this way.
I know I still owe you an email, but I can tell you I live about 25 minutes from Balt, 30s-ish from D.C. and 3 hours from Williamsburg.
Your girls sound like they'd get along swimmingly with mine!
What cute kids. Sisters are great (brothers too).
