Wonderful Saturday!

This year my Mother's day celebration started a bit early! My mom is a member of a barbershop chorus in Salt Lake and on Saturday they had a competition complete with a family chorus. My mom invited my sister Malauna and me with our daughters to sing with her. We all wanted matching outfits (as you can see), so Malauna sewed the dresses for the girls and dressed up the shirts for us. Aren't they so cute!

This is me and my sister Malauna. In case you were wondering, I sing lead (melody) and she sings tenor.

I really don't know why Janica was being so shy all of a sudden. She gets her picture taken all the time and usually loves it! Anyway, we had a great time singing together. Once I'm feeling ambitious enough, I'll have to post a video of our performance on the blog too. I really love my family and enjoy these activities we are able to do together. Truly a wonderful part of my Mother's Day weekend.
